How Much Time Do You Spend With God?
spending time with God.

Everyone  has time. We all have 24 hours in a day just like the next person.  It's how you use your time that makes all the difference. Some spend their discretionary time drinking coffee, playing with children, pets, watching TV, listening to music, reading books, vacationing, playing sports, studying God's word, praying, fellowshipping with other Christians... to name a few.

We all have time that we spend doing things we like.  We make daily decisions about  how we will spend our time. If we say we have "no time" it is probably because we have planned and prioritized poorly - A person without time for God should at least honestly say : "I waste my time."

We must balance time with all of our responsibilities. One of our key responsibilities is to spend time with God.

How much time do you spend with God during an average week? ... But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." And for those who seek the kingdom of God first He says: "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble." (Matt. 6:34)

Take a minute and figure up how much time you spend with God in an average week either in private, in the Word, or gathered with the saints. Now calculate how much time you spend watching TV, on hobbies, etc. What's the comparison?

To spend little or no time with God is to neglect God.  is God important? If so, why not join us daily in our Podcast as we spend Time with God.
